Educational Testing Services (ETS) Changed the GRE in 2011.

The new GRE format, officially called the GRE revised General Test, is now the standard format for the GRE General. ETC changed the format of the exam on August 1, 2011.

The GRE Revised is not harder, as some test preparation “experts” may imply. However, the test format is different – in some cases significantly different.
